Nestor MKII Grit Bin
NESTOR grit/salt container has an extremely tough, double-skinned lid and a knuckle and rod hinge with steel reinforcing bar which gives unbeatable strength. Perfect for car parks and yards, the unit is especially useful on extensive sites where a larger container is required.

NESTOR will stack in odd numbers up to seven units high. This is a major benefit in the summer months when not in use, or during transportation. With forklift slots and lifting recesses, handling the unit is easy.

NESTOR is available with either a plain lid or embossed with a grit/salt legend.

SLIMLINE grit/salt storage container has been computer designed with special added features for outstanding performance and durability. The new design contours and rounded profile contribute to its superior strength and give it an attractive, contemporary appearance. Manufactured in tough, impact-resistant Durapol® material for all-weather durability.

The slim and compact design shape of SLIMLINE makes it ideal for grit/salt storage where space is limited, for example pavement areas, small car parks, entrance areas and shop forecourts.

The lid can be fully rotated from closed to an open-rest position, minimising any undue stress being applied to the hinge. The reinforced hinge also improves the strength and robustness of SLIMLINE. The moulded-in drainage feature between the body and lid minimises water ingress and so keeps contents dry.

Orbistor 800 Grit Bin
The revolutionary spherical design of the ORBISTOR 800 grit/salt container provides exceptional benefits to the user. ORBISTOR 800 has unbeatable strength from its robust, “all-round” design.

The deep lid has an integral knuckle and rod hinge with a plastic coated reinforcing rod to resist strain when pushed back, therefore providing excellent vandal resistance. The lid has been designed with a sloping feature to ensure adequate resistance to wind and moulded-in drainage channels prevent any accumulation of water, thereby keeping the contents of the bin dry. A lock can be supplied as an optional extra.
The angled lid maximises storage space, enabling the ORBISTOR 800 to store up to 800ltr of grit or salt, so refilling is cut to a minimum. This makes ORBISTOR 800 the perfect choice for large sites or remote areas, saving time and money. Manufactured from Durapol® material, the ORBISTOR 800 is tougher and less expensive than other materials, thereby enabling a greater number of units to be distributed when considering financial limitations or budgeting restrictions.

Rollastor Grit Bin
Ideal for any industrial or commercial premises where areas to grit may be awkward to cover from a static container. ROLLASTOR can easily be wheeled from one central point to another to assist with the manual gritting of larger areas. The unit can be kept indoors if required, then simply wheeled out when necessary.

Manufactured from a tough, high-density polyethylene, ROLLASTOR will give years of valuable service. Equipped with a front hopper feed aperture allowing easy removal of contents. A retention clip holds a handy, lightweight shovel.

Cruiser Turbocast 300 Grit Spreader

CRUISER TURBOCAST 300 broadcast spreads dry or wet grit/salt mixture to a width of between 3 and 7m. No matter how damp the gritting material is, CRUISER TURBOCAST 300 can spread with minimum effort. It is user friendly with front and back rests which make it easy to manoeuvre up and down kerbs.

Designed with a balanced weight distribution, CRUISER TURBOCAST 300 can easily be pushed along, even when fully laden. The front rest allows the unit to be emptied wheelbarrow fashion after use and the chassis has a special Armortec® coating for corrosion-resistance. A range of settings allows accurate controlled dosing ensuring economic spreading. The gritter can be disengaged for transportation between sites without losing any material.

Cruiser 150 Towable Grit Spreader
CRUISER TOWABLE 150 gritting machine can effectively spread wet AND dry grit, grit/salt mixture or sand. No matter how damp the gritting material, spreading performance will not be impaired. A rubber plate within the hopper moves the grit with a continuous rippling action ensuring it does not clog. Because there are no rotating parts inside the hopper, wear and tear is minimal, giving a long, trouble-free service life. A single lever movement opens a flap in the base of the hopper for easy emptying and cleaning.

Icemaster Manual 20 & 40 Grit Spreader
ICEMASTER 20 and 40 are ideal for locations where larger machines cannot effectively operate, such as small car parks and on footpaths. Easy to use with an adjustable flow control and a spinning thrower plate mechanism allowing a wide spreading action for economy and speed.

We recommend that ICEMASTER 20 and 40 should be used with Glasdon ICEMELT™ (please see product page for details). If grit or salt is used, it is essential that the material is dry. Both ICEMASTER 20 and 40 have a strong, tubular steel frame and corrosion-proof plastic hopper, and are supplied flat-packed for self-assembly and ease of storage.
